Rumors that Phaedra wouldn’t be returning to the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” for season 10 have been swirling around for some time now. But now, TMZ is reporting the news. And for their occasional slip ups, I tend to trust them.
And according to TMZ, sources close to production confirmed that Phaedra was released from the show because of the rumor (read: lie) she spread, through Porsha Williams, about Kandi Burruss and her husband Todd.
For those who missed it, Phaedra lied throughout the season saying that Kandi and Todd were planning on drugging and raping Porsha. Bravo never aired Phaedra’s original claims because Kandi threatened Bravo if they did so. To be honest, I’m not exactly clear on that one. Beause it was so obvious that Kandi didn’t know Phaedra was the one behind the rumor. So who knows when Kandi told Bravo not to air the claims.
Either way, Bravo believed Phaedra’s allegations were so outlandish that they refused to keep working with her and let her know that in early April.
