In my opinion, Taraji P. Henson is one of a handful of famous women who has the bob game on lock. Whether rocking a traditional or asymmetrical bob, the actress's hair is always on point. And this weekend she decided to add a little something extra to her staple hairstyle with an undercut.
Last week, Taraji hinted that a mane change was coming with this photo of her alongside celebrity hairstylist Tym Wallace who created the "chic but edgy undercut style” seen on the <em>Hidden Figures </em>star on the SAG Award red carpet last night.

When Taraji followed that photo up with another of several locks of hair on the floor, we didn't know what to expect, and she didn't complete the big reveal until SAG Award weekend.

During the Producers Guild Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel this past Saturday, Taraji showed off a sleek, shorter than usual asymmetrical bob with just a hint of color that looked stunning on the 46-year-old, but it seems she wasn't quite done cutting yet.

By Sunday night, Taraji was rocking an edgier version of her new bob with an undercut. Tym explained the change, saying, "When thinking about Taraji's look, we wanted to focus on her inner beauty and personality. Her versatility and command of any screen translates - from <em>Empire</em>’s Cookie Lyons to <em>Hidden Figures</em>’ Katherine Johnson."

To create the waves seen on the star, Tym used the Harry Josh ProTools Ceramic Styling Iron to create curls. Once set, he brushed the curls downward with a small Mason Pearson brush to soften the waves. The look was finished with Oribe Apres Beach Wave and Shine spray and Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Strong. Oh, and that touch of brown color is courtesy of custom-colored <em>Indique</em> hair extensions using the Pravana color system.
