When you’re young, every breakup hurts. Even breakups from the guys you weren’t into hurt because you don’t know yourself well enough to realize just how incompatible you were. Every ending leads to thoughts of “What could have been…” and that’s if you’re nice and romantic. <em>Most </em>thoughts have words like, well, we can’t really write them here, but suffice it to say that a lot of your younger breakups resulted in anger. Some breakups may have resulted in drunken, angry voicemails and Facebook humiliation. Why? Because back then, you didn’t know that nothing is really personal and that <em>everybody </em>was still figuring out who they wanted to be, as individuals and as romantic partners. For that reason, as you get older, here are the men you eventually forgive.
